The pitch
Cyril M (eD3ath)'s answers, in their own words. Day Zero checks the founder's identity, not these claims.
- How far along are you?
- EverWhisper is currently in active development. The core product and user experience are being built, including memorial pages, profiles, photo and story sharing, family contributions, and privacy controls. What is still missing is final testing, refinement, moderation tools, and the infrastructure needed to support a wider public launch.
- Why did you pick this idea to work on?
- Memories of people we love are usually scattered across phones, social media, old albums, messages, and different family members. When someone passes away, there is no simple, lasting place that brings those memories together. EverWhisper grew from the idea that remembering should feel personal and meaningful, not like managing an archive. The brand is also influenced by the Filipino belief that butterflies can symbolize the presence of loved ones who have passed.
- What's new about what you're making?
- EverWhisper is designed around preserving a person's presence and story, rather than simply publishing an obituary or death notice. Families can build a memorial together over time through photos, stories, memories, and contributions from relatives and friends. Today, people usually rely on Facebook profiles, group chats, cloud folders, photo albums, or separate memorial websites, none of which were designed as a long-term family legacy space.
- Who are your competitors?
- The closest alternatives include online memorial and obituary platforms such as Legacy.com, Ever Loved, Keeper, and MuchLoved, along with indirect substitutes like Facebook memorialized accounts and shared cloud photo albums. We believe EverWhisper can differentiate by making the experience more personal, collaborative, culturally thoughtful, and focused on preserving a complete legacy over generations instead of mainly documenting a death.
- Are people using your product?
- EverWhisper is still pre-launch, so we do not have paying customers yet. We are currently building the product and preparing it for early users and supporters. The next step is to bring families into the platform, observe how they actually use it, and improve the experience based on their feedbac
- Who writes code, or does other technical work on your product?
- I currently handle the product development and technical work for EverWhisper, including the platform architecture, product experience, integrations, testing, and deployment. I also use modern AI-assisted development tools to move faster, but the product decisions, implementation, and direction are managed by me. No non-founder has built the core product.
