Delivery, updates, and refunds
You’re charged only when the founder opens access, and you can cancel until then. After the charge the purchase is final.
Listing is currently free for founders (the listing fee is waived).
Founders are paid the price minus Dodo’s fee minus Day Zero’s 7%. Day Zero holds that amount until backers can use the product, then sends it in the next weekly payout.
Every campaign is all or nothing. If it reaches its goal, you’re charged when the founder opens access, so you pay once you can use the product. Until then you can cancel your pledge from your account and never be charged. Once you’re charged, the purchase is final.
If access isn’t open 90 days after the campaign ends, or the founder cancels first, the campaign is cancelled and nobody is charged.
Missed delivery by more than 60 days without communication, ghosting for 90+ days, or fraud Day Zero can point to puts the founder on the public ban list. A ban doesn’t make a purchase refundable.
